Kevlar, SVM and Twaron materials are similar in both appearance and properties. But since Kevlar began to be widely used in military and civilian products, they know it better.
Kevlar (kevlar) is a very strong material, has a high structural hardness and a low degree of extensibility. These properties have contributed to the fact that this material has become indispensable in the production of light bulletproof vests and other safety equipment used to protect against gunshot or fragmentation damage.
The following properties can be attributed to the advantages of Kevlar:
- Very low electrical conductivity
- High chemical resistance
- Low thermal shrinkage
- High tear and cut resistance
- High resists fire (has the ability to self-extinguish)
