Fins and monofins for spearfishing and diving
The benefits of our carbon fins:
- Our fin blades are made of carbon because this material most effectively transfers the physical work of the swimmer’s leg into the speed of his movement in the water
- Our fins use both high-strength and high-modulus carbon fiber. This combination makes it possible to obtain maximum elasticity with such a meager relative thickness of the fin blade
- Using unidirectional carbon, we can accurately set the physical and mechanical characteristics of the blade. Because The blade works mainly in bending and much less in other directions! And the curved carbon fibers in a woven fabric work an order of magnitude worse than perfectly even fibers in a unidirectional fabric
- In the new blades of the fins, unidirectional fibers are also laid to absorb torsional loads. They appear with a sharp maneuver of the swimmer or with improper work of the leg. This innovation made the fins more stable in all maneuvers
- Obtaining plastic without air inside (this can be seen from the perfect mirror surface, and not from the shells on the surface of ordinary plastic) is achieved using autoclave technology
- And one of the most important advantages. So that all our laid out layers of carbon retain their direction during baking, and not “float”, as happens when using a liquid epoxy resin! We only use a meltable binder at 80 degrees when the fibers are clamped in the autoclave tooling under pressure
We can deliver fins and monofins in the big cities of Ukraine, Europe, Asia and Africa.
